During our Big Event day of service, hundreds of students, faculty and staff volunteer at non-profits throughout the Greater Hamden area. Our students also organize several fundraising events throughout the year to benefit area charitites that align with the missions of their organizations.

Quinnipiac has long partnered with the Keefe Community Center in Hamden, offering assistance with initiatives from gardening to occupational therapy to physical therapy to holiday toy drives and more.
Quinnipiac partners with Haven’s Harvest to help reduce hunger and support food recovery in Hamden. Quinnipiac Dining, which oversees food services at the university, donates its excess food directly to Hamden residents through Haven’s Harvest, a nonprofit organization that currently provides food to those facing food insecurity throughout Greater New Haven. Quinnipiac students volunteer to help distribute the food throughout Hamden.
