Community Partnership: ConnCORP
Open to minority-owned or women-owned businesses, the program supports entrepreneurs in the Greater New Haven-Hamden community to grown their business. Through access to expertise, entrepreneurs receive opportunities to build a business plan and create a professional commercial for their company.
The partnership with ConnCORP and this entrepreneurship program is partially funded through a Small Business Administration (SBA) grant awarded to the university.
In its first year, 18 business-owners completed the 14-week program.
