The Bobcat Stride walking program offers older adults a safe and comfortable environment to exercise.
How to participate
Offered Monday through Friday, 6 to 9 a.m.*

Parking: Follow the Bobcat Stride signs that lead to the parking garage
The program is free and open to members of the public 50 years of age and over. There is an indoor, year-round route, as well as an outdoor route during the spring, summer and fall months. Both routes prioritize flat and safe surfaces that are accessible to all ability levels.

Parking: Enter through the Main Entrance, a public safety officer will direct you where to park
The program is free and open to members of the public 50 years of age and over. This location has an outdoor-only brick walking path. The path is open Monday through Friday from 6–9 a.m., and is closed during inclement weather (rain and snow). This path brings the walker by a variety of trees on our Mount Carmel Campus. Trees are designated with plaques containing information about each tree. Quinnipiac is proud to hold the Tree Campus designation through the Arbor Day Foundation.

Bring the waiver with you when you come for your first walk.
Hard copy waivers are also available on site. Please note: all participants must fill out a waiver prior to walking.
University Closures
*Please note: The program does not run on university holidays or when the university closes for weather.
The university observes the following holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, as well as a winter break (typically a few days before Christmas until after New Year's Day).
